Kimm Sun is Certified Nurse Midwife and a Certified Havening Trainer. After years of being a Havening Techniques Trainer, she developed Perinatal Havening to meet mental wellness needs during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and motherhood.
Kimm offers training for midwives, nurses, birth workers, doulas, doctors, and birth partners working in childbirth, as well as advanced Havening Training.
She is a regular presenter at the annual Havening Conference, midwifery conferences, and the UN’s Commission for the Status of Women. She is also a guest faculty at Yale and Columbia School of Nursing.
She has trained midwives in Haiti, Nepal, and Vietnam, as well as social workers in South America working against human-trafficking.
Currently, she is engaged in a research project exploring the impact of Havening on the maternity outcome of Black Women.
